Selection Process and Criteria
The MIGO Tomorrow Leader Scheme selection process is a need-dependent, merit-based open competition. After the deadline, all eligible applications will be reviewed by a selection panel. Following this review, chosen finalists will be interviewed by the MIGO Tomorrow Leader Scheme team through an online video conferencing platform. If advanced to the final round, the applicant must provide
  • Proof of final year status at University
  • Proof of citizenship
  • All original copies of documents uploaded during application
  • Selection panels will use the following criteria to evaluate applications:
  • A proven record of superior scholastic ability
  • Displayed financial need
  • Outstanding character
  • A proven record of leadership and community involvement
  • A commitment to influence the home community with skills learned
General Application Tips
  • The MIGO Tomorrow Leader Scheme uses an internet-based application system. You will need to access a computer and internet to apply. You would also need a scanner to upload the required documents. Snapping documents with phones will disqualify you.
  • You do not have to finish your application in one session. You may save your work and return to complete your application as many times as necessary. You must not leave your application untouched for up to 30 days or your account will be deleted.

Application Submission Guidelines
To apply, follow these steps:
  1. Registration: Create an account on the MIGO Impact Program portal.
  2. Application Form: Fill out the application form, providing general information, education details, and uploading required documents.
  3. Recommendation Section: Insert personal information and contact details for an Academic referee and a Religious Referee.
  4. Essay Section: Complete four essay questions, each with a 500-word limit.
  5. Submission: Submit your application before the deadline.

  • School ID Card
  • Admission Letter
  • Birth Certificate
  • Proof of Local Government Area of Origin
  • Proof of 4.0GPA and above
  • Letter of recommendation from Academic and Religious Referees
